All Party Parliamentary Climate Change Group Meeting with Professor Lester Brown; Wed 5th March
The All Party Parliamentary Climate Change Group is pleased to invite you to a meeting with Professor Lester Brown, Founder and President of the Earth Policy Institute, who will speak on the themes of his latest work: ‘Plan B 3.0: Mobilizing to Save Civilization.’ Plan B 3.0 is a ‘comprehensive plan for reversing trends that are fast undermining our future’.
Plan B 3.0 focuses on solutions for stabilizing the climate, stabilizing the population, eradicating poverty and restoring the world’s damaged ecosystems. Professor Brown has been named as one of the worlds’ most influential thinkers (by the Washington Post), has been awarded 24 honorary degrees and is one of the world’s most widely published authors.
Professor Brown’s lecture will be followed by a question and answer session.
The event will be held in Committee Room 10, House of Commons. Please enter by St. Stephen’s Gate and please allow enough time to pass through security.
