Award-winning documentary 'Manufactured Landscapes' released by the British Film Institute on 9 May

Manufactured Landscapes, the award-winning documentary from director Jennifer Baichwal’s, opens throughout the UK on the 9th of May 2008 in London (The Gate, Notting Hill; BFI, Southbank; Barbican; Ritzy) Cambridge (Cambridge Arts Picturehouse) and Edinburgh (Cameo).

Acclaimed by Al Gore as ‘beautiful, insightful and thought-provoking’, Jennifer Baichwal’s award-winning documentary Manufactured Landscapes will be released by the BFI on 9 May. From its opening tracking shot along the seemingly endless expanse of a Chinese factory floor, it offers an amazing and alarming insight into the human and environmental costs of massive industrial expansion.
