About This Course

Partnership is an easy thing to talk about but a difficult thing to achieve. Why this is so and what to do about it is the subject of this training course. Much of what is written and taught about partnerships focuses on the institutional dynamics of the relationship between two or more organisations. However, our experience has shown that it is the relationship between the individuals involved that is the make or break factor.

Level

You will be actively involved in partnership working, and keen to share ideas and learn from others about what works and what does not work.

Aim

To consider partnership working from the perspective of the people involved, looking at the skills, behaviours and attitudes required to achieve results through improved communication and collaborative approaches to working.

Course Style

We begin to design our courses by putting ourselves in the shoes of our learners. We believe that learning through doing is the only way you will remember and have the confidence to use the tools and techniques that we use ourselves. There will be a mixture of exercises and trainer input to ensure an engaging balance between theory and practical work, as well as learning from other participants.
