Saying good bye to Anne Roos-Weil and welcoming Nigel Homer!

> Anne Roos-Weil has been awarded a one-year sponsorship by Antropia, a French structure co-founded by her former school (ESSEC Business School) and French bank Caisse d'Epargne that supports social entrepreneurs in the development of their project, to work full-time on Pesinet, an NGO she managed during her own time and co-founded two years ago. Pesinet is an organisation providing a prevention and early-care system in Africa, using mobile technolgies to monitor children's healthcare and a mutual insurance model to facilitate low-income populations' access to medical treatment (more info on www.pesinet.org ).

This year was crucial in the development of the project, it  having been selected as one of the 10 international finalists of the Global Social Venture Competition in Berkeley. Out of hundreds of projects submitted worldwide, Anne presented the project to a jury of expert and investors in the social entrepreneurship field. The competition was a great opportunity to spread the word about this great project and many of them showed great interest in the initiative. If you are interested about her project and would like to find out more about Pesinet, please contact Anne directly by email at anne.roosweil@pesinet.org.
