New guidance on Corporate Responsibility reporting published by UN Conference on Trade & Development
Following more than three years of research and consultations with a broad range of experts and stakeholders - including The Environment Council- the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) has just released the new publication "Guidance on Corporate Responsibility Indicators in Annual Reports".
The guidance is expected to serve as a practical voluntary tool that will assist enterprises in their efforts to communicate with investors and other stakeholders.
At the heart of the guidance is a concise set of 16 indicators, along with a robust reporting methodology, designed to provide quantitative and comparable information on corporate responsibility issues.
The new publication also includes valuable chapters on stakeholders and their information needs, as well as descriptions of the selection criteria considered important in choosing corporate responsibility indicators.
