Seminar on engagement and climate change

Over the last two years The Environment Council has been convening a Forum of more than ten environmental agencies: the Environmental Agencies Better Engagement Group (EABEG), where members share their experience of engaging stakeholders on various issues. As we believe in multi-sectoral approaches, we are opening up the Forum to NGO’s at the next seminar on June 25th

This seminar on engagement on climate change will be an opportunity for participants to meet up and exchange views with policy makers and engagement specialists from various environmental agencies (e.g. Natural England, Environment Agency, Countryside Council for Wales, Sustainable Development Commission…)

Participants will also hear presentations from three key speakers working on engagement on climate change issues and contribute to the discussions.

The seminar will also provide an opportunity to voice opinions about the current environmental agencies engagement strategies on climate change.

We believe this Forum is a great opportunity for all of us to contribute to the improvement of decision-making processes on climate change.
