White Tailed Eagle Potential Reintroduction
The Environment Council is currently working in partnership with Natural England and other project partners to help start discussions over impacts that might occur as a result of the potential reintroduction of White-tailed eagles to England on the Suffolk coast.
The project aims to work with those who will be affected by and can affect this reintroduction to help overcome concerns and maximise the potentially huge positive impact both for England’s biodiversity and the local economy.
The consultation is led by The Environment Council but the wider reintroduction project is run by Natural England, with support from Suffolk Wildlife Trust, RSPB and Anglian Water.
The Environment Council has significant experience in managing high profile projects of a contentious nature and we will use our considerable experience of engagement processes and facilitation to help deliver the most effective process possible.
The project is still in its initial stages although both the team and the partnerships have been established. Preparation is currently underway for the first stakeholder meetings – watch this space for developments.
